First multiple bike shoot – for the Charlotte Aprilia dealer. This presented a unique set of challenges from positioning the motorcycles to setting up three lights to illuminate each one properly.

It's been interesting to watch some of my smaller clients grow over the years. When I began photographing for McNeely and Mallette, they had one office. They just opened their fourth. I feel privileged to have been part of their journey.

Lately, I've been asked about AI portraits. Yes, any of the AI models can be used to enhance or even generate headshots. For personal use, have fun – but for professional applications, be authentic and use real photos. And no filters, please.

I've long wanted to have the opportunity to photograph a welder in action. I shot these from about 15 feet away. Since could not use welder's glass to protect my eyes, I had to look at my camera's screen to capture these images.

This Texas wind generation photo is one of the most difficult drone shots I've ever done. The wind was blowing at about 20 mph – so the drone was warning me to bring it down. I was on the phone with the technician, roughly 300 feet above me, providing him instructions regarding where to stand/look/etc. That said, I love how it turned out.

Commercial architecture: the Kaleideum in Winston-Salem. A 70,000 square foot children's museum and science center.

Stellantis, please bring back the Viper. I had the privilege of photographing this ACR, the final version to date.

The Aprilia RS Factory for Tee's Eurocycles in Charlotte. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer (hence the color scheme in this image) that is currently leading the Moto GP standings for 2026.

Coincidentally, when High Point University notched their first NCAA basketball tournament win last Thursday, I was photographing their beautiful campus.
