She went faster than Fred Flinstone tonight! 🥳

A life like representation of James Adams after another week of work put in on the car... gas pedal to the floor, never lifted...and the power just isn't there. Dyno'd her last week, different gears, all new everything, motor has even been changed out... TWICE.
Thank God for his awesome sponsors this year that actually came thru for us. It's been an extra spendy year. Good news is the car is still looking good when we attend car shows! 🤣🥰🤣

It's sure one of those "If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all" seasons...hot laps we blew a radiator hose. Then first night with the fresh, rebuilt carburetor and it's overloaded with fuel so pulled it off first lap in the heats.

Sure would be nice just to enjoy a race and have some good ole fashion fun eh! Maybe retirement and ThunderRoad is in the near future ;) James Adams
