With the conclusion of our 25-26 school year, comes the conclusion of a PHENOMENAL career!

You can't talk about Hickory Ridge Elementary without talking about Officer Norman-- whose smile, high fives and daily dad jokes lit up the HRES hallways and the faces of every student, staff member and parent that he came in contact with!

After a 27 year career, there aren't enough words to express our gratitude for keeping the HRES and the greater Cabarrus County community safe! While, we will miss Officer Norman, we couldn't think of a better person to FINALLY get to enjoy the fruits of his labor!

Special thank you to our PTO Board, our HRES SISP Team and our Administrators for giving our Nutrition Team a MUCH NEEDED break during lunch duty!

Our Nutrition Team are some of the hardest working employees and, at times, some of the most overlooked! They make sure our students and staff are adequately fed day in and day out and we can’t imagine HRES without them!
