Today Capps Racing has 2 birthdays! Our driver & crew chief / car owner, both Jason’s! We would also like to wish Nicholas Pressley a happy birthday, our part time crew chief! 🤘🏼

We had plans to be at wartburg for there 4th of July race, but our driver is stuck at work. We hope everyone has a great 4th, enjoys family, and stays safe. Make sure you go out and support a local track over the next few days.🤘🏼🤘🏼.

We had plans on running at wartburg speedway tonight, but had something come up and we’re not able to make it!

Race Recap : We went to Wartburg Speedway 4/26 for the weekly racing! Was a long day of work at the house to get ready! Got to the track and drew a 99. No good.
Hotlaps: We went out for hotlaps and was quickest, didn’t change nothing but tire pressure!
Heat Race: We started 6th in our heat race, made our way to second & that’s where we stayed the leader was already out front alone. We went across scales and was 20lbs light. We have made weight each time we went out, and not sure how we were light. But it’s something we had to deal with.
Feature: We started in the back, battled door to door for 2nd with our good buddy Tommyjoe for about 8-10 laps. Tires started to give away closer to the end. Ended up spinning out and going to 6th, made our way back to 3rd, that’s where we finished. Great night for us, we will take it!
Thankful for everyone who has a hand in this deal. Our crew worked hard to be ready.

Ran 2nd in heat 2, top 2 got disqualified. We was 20 pounds light. Bs. But it is what it is, we will be ready to go for the feature
