Seeds Still Grow in Summer
Scripture:
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good…” – Galatians 6:9 NLT
Daily Teaching:
Growth is often happening even when we cannot immediately see it.
Seeds planted beneath the surface require:
• Time
• Water
• Patience
• Consistency
Spiritual growth works the same way.
At Grace Point Fellowship, we must remember:
Faithfulness always matters, even when results seem slow.
Sometimes believers become discouraged because they do not see immediate change:
• In themselves
• In their families
• In situations they are praying about
But God is always working beneath the surface.
Every prayer…
Every act of obedience…
Every moment spent in God’s presence…
Plants seeds that eventually produce fruit.
The danger is quitting too soon.
Summer can become a season where spiritual effort relaxes.
But faithful believers continue sowing spiritually regardless of the season.
Consistency matters more than instant results.
God honors faithful obedience.
Do not become discouraged if growth feels slow.
Healthy growth often happens gradually.
Keep planting.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
God is still working.
Reflection Questions:
• Where have I become discouraged spiritually?
• Am I remaining faithful even when results seem slow?
• What spiritual seeds am I planting consistently?
Grace Point Application:
This week:
• Stay faithful in spiritual disciplines
• Encourage someone who feels discouraged
• Trust God’s timing and process
Faithfulness produces fruit over time.
Prayer:
Father, help me remain faithful even when I cannot see immediate results. Strengthen my trust in Your timing and continue producing spiritual growth in my life. Amen.

1) una persona amable que hace cosas buenas;
2) una persona ruda que hace cosas buenas;
3) una persona amable que hace cosas malas;

James Talarico is a smiley, Democrat politician running for the U.S. Senate in Texas. He touts himself a “pastor.”
As believers in Jesus Christ, what should our stand be as to his candidacy?
There are four kinds of people in the world:
1) a Nice person who does good things;
2) a Rough person who does good things;
3) a Nice person who does evil things;
4) a Rough person who does evil things.
The most dangerous of all [ #3] is the “nice person who does evil things.”
Mr. Talarico, who calls himself a “christian,” is the smiling, “nice person” who speaks of “jesus,” quotes scripture and redefines biblical words and ideas. He is precisely whom Jesus told us to “beware of [as] false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” [Matt. 7:15].
Mr. Talarico may seem the “nice person” with a big smile, but committed Christians are not swayed by what he appears to say, but by what he truly advocates and stands for. From the unbiblical idea of calling God “non-binary” to his total embrace and promotion of homosexuality [which scripture condemns as a sin], and the total physical mutilation of young children under the guise of “gender-affirming care,” Mr. Talarico stands for, and with, many other sorts of ungodly things which Jesus and the Bible condemns.
We will listen to the Bible Jesus who commands us to BEWARE the “nice person” who promotes evil, ungodly things [through political policies]. Scripture has already judged him a false prophet and an inwardly evil, ravenous wolf.

L A L E Y
E L E V A N G E L I O

T H E L A W
No one can come BOLDLY to the throne of God’s grace to obtain mercy who has not first come to the courtroom before the Judge of the whole earth: the holy God of justice — to hear the guilty verdict due his sin. There the sinner, having seen that he has willfully violated the Law of the holy God of justice, sees himself condemned with no hope.
“For through the Law comes the knowledge of sin” [Rom. 3:20 NASB]
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive … according to what he has done…” [2 Cor. 5:10 NKJV]
“[God] has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness” [Acts 17:31 NKJV]
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” [Rom. 3:23 NKJV]
“For the wages of sin is death” [Rom. 6:23 NKJV]
T H E G O S P E L
Upon hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ and seeing his hopeless sinful state, the sinner may first call out for mercy as a sinner and believe that Jesus Christ died in his place.
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” [â€â€Romans‬ â€4‬:â€57-â€8‬ â€NKJV‬‬]
“[The] gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” [Rom.6:23]
The sinner needs the Law AND the Gospel. Without the Law all he sees is his own “goodness”. Without the Gospel of grace, he has no hope.
The Law diagnoses the sinner’s lost condition: worthy of death.
The Gospel brings grace to the one who believes and ilumines the glory of the God, who saves!
Now, the believer —who knows Christ truly as savior —can come come with BOLDNESS to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need!

Bloom on Vacation Too
Scripture:
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord… They are like trees planted along a riverbank…” – Jeremiah 17:7–8 NLT
Daily Teaching:
Healthy plants continue growing because they remain connected to a source of water.
The same principle applies spiritually.
At Grace Point Fellowship, we must continue growing spiritually in every season—not only during structured routines.
Summer should not become a season of spiritual pause.
God desires believers who continue:
• Growing
• Learning
• Trusting
• Producing spiritual fruit
Jeremiah described believers as trees planted near water—stable, nourished, and fruitful regardless of surrounding conditions.
Strong spiritual roots create lasting stability.
People with shallow spiritual roots often struggle when difficulties arise.
But believers deeply connected to God remain steady even during changing seasons.
Growth happens through consistency.
The healthiest believers continue pursuing God:
• During vacations
• During busy schedules
• During peaceful seasons
• During difficult seasons
Wherever you are this summer, continue growing spiritually.
Healthy roots produce healthy fruit.
Reflection Questions:
• Am I continuing to grow spiritually consistently?
• What strengthens my spiritual roots most?
• Have I become spiritually stagnant in any area?
Grace Point Application:
This week:
• Spend intentional time with God daily
• Continue pursuing spiritual growth
• Stay rooted in Scripture and prayer
Healthy roots create lasting strength.
Prayer:
Lord, help me remain spiritually rooted and growing. Strengthen my faith and teach me to continue pursuing You faithfully in every season. Amen.
