The borage is blooming this week! These lovely blue-star flowers start as violet buds and then open to the most beautiful sky-blue blooms. Their taste is similar to that of fresh cucumber, and they make a beautiful, edible garnish for salads, desserts, and drinks.

There’s more beautiful food in the casita this morning! Chef Diego of Laurel Park Bistro has created fresh croissants filled with salmon, goat cheese, & boiled egg; and ham and cheese. Fresh cookies, cool drinks, and lots of room for picnicking are also available. It’s a beautiful morning at Wild August Nursery & Flower Farm.
