Constellation will be conducting a semi-annual, test of the emergency warning sirens surrounding Limerick Generating Station today, at approximately 2 p.m.

The warning system is made up of sirens located within the 10-mile radius around Limerick..

In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. But there is hope. Advancements in early detection methods and support continue to increase the chances of survival. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate of breast cancer is 99%.

How can you lower your risk of breast cancer?
You can lower your risk of breast cancer by:

⚘ Maintaining a healthy weight.

⚘ Being physically active.

⚘ Limiting or avoiding alcohol.

⚘ Asking your doctor about the risks of hormone replacement therapy or birth control pills.

⚘ Breastfeeding, if possible.

This National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we at FVMR, and the community at large, recommit to doing our part to give more support, hope, and care to patients, families, and survivors of breast cancer. Let us rise above party and politics and unite as Americans to help all of our loved ones struggling with this terrible disease.
