There are always so many things on the to-do list…
I was putting off posting this recording because I thought, well I should set up a new Spotify artist account (this song is currently on there under my old stage name Amanda Lynne)… and so many other things to make it a “clean” transition. But sometimes life is messy. And I want to share this now.
I absolutely love being an entertainer and making my living playing private events. I’m not trying to play my original music at your wedding or corporate event ;) Nor do I have any expectations of making actual money from it- trust me 😂 I just want to share this authentic expression of myself from one human to another out there ✨

It’s always hard to choose songs for video shoots. We play SO many different styles of music and perform in several languages. French jazz certainly gets us the most bookings- and we love those events! ❤️
But the artist and human in me as opposed to the entertainer/entrepreneur chose this song. It feels extremely important to me right now in the U.S. to sing in Spanish. The fact that innocent people are being targeted for speaking this language, for having an accent when they speak in English, is terrifying. But I’ll try to just let the music speak here. Hopefully I didn’t butcher the vowels too badly- the native Baltimore tongue shapes them quite differently ;)
