📓 It’s MAY. My favorite month of the year! The unofficial start of summer weather. Two of my siblings’ birthdays are coming up. School’s finna be out for the kids. People graduating on to bigger and better things. All that jazz. Speaking of jazz, I’ve got some smooth new music coming out. A bunch of live shows, shoots, collabs sin the works and appearances planned for May and onward! It can be a bit overwhelming to think about at times 😵‍💫but I’m here for it! 🙏🏾

As Detroit steps into a new chapter with a new mayor, administration, city council, and other elected officials, it’s worth remembering that democracy doesn’t end on Election Day. No matter who is in office, it’s on us to stay engaged, hold leaders accountable, and push for better for our people.

This isn’t just a call to the community. It’s a commitment I’m making myself to do more, show up more, and be more present than I ever have before. I express these sentiments in my newly released single “D MANOOGIAN BITCH” which is available on all streaming platforms.
