🤠🐾 Sometimes being a cowboy isn’t about horses, trucks, or boots. It’s about being there when someone needs help.

This week, a family pulled into Cowboys Dog Ranch in a panic. Their 4-day-old American Bully XL puppy was choking during a car ride and struggling to breathe. Seeing our sign, they rushed in looking for help.

Without hesitation, our team member Alex jumped into action. He took over immediately, helped clear the puppy’s airway, and stayed with her until her breathing stabilized. Thankfully, the puppy recovered and is doing well.

We’re incredibly proud of Alex for keeping a level head and stepping up when it mattered most. What started as an ordinary day at Cowboys Dog Ranch turned into a reminder of why we do what we do: we love dogs, and we’re always willing to help when we can.

Thank you to this family and Da'Curra Snead for trusting us during such a scary moment, and thank God this little pup is okay. ❤️🐶

Just like kids at school, our dogs get multiple recess breaks throughout the day! ☀️🌳

We believe dogs need a healthy balance of playtime, socialization, exercise, and rest. That's why our ranch hands rotate our guests outside several times a day for zoomies, fetch, potty breaks, sunshine, and plenty of tail wagging fun!

After playtime, it's back inside for water, cool air conditioning, naps, and relaxation before the next adventure begins. 🐶💤

scar is a handsome boy who just had a blast outside and got lots of loving from all of the team members. 🤠❤️

Some people see a crate and immediately think it’s something negative… but for many dogs, a crate is actually their safe place. 🤎🐾

Just like people go to their bedroom to relax and recharge, dogs often do the exact same thing. That’s why we like to keep crates available in each room here at Cowboys Dog Ranch. The doors stay open so the dogs can choose what they want to do. If they want to curl up and nap, they can walk right in. If they want to come back out and play, they can do that too.

This crew had an absolute blast outside today running around and enjoying the sunshine ☀️🐕 but on hot days like this, naps and cool down time are important too.

And this group right here is a vetted social group that we’ve spent a lot of time carefully introducing and socializing together. Watching them all pile up together like one big family honestly makes us smile every time.

Lorenzo has become the big brother they all wanted and needed. 🐶❤️
