From Pre-K graduation… to high school honors graduate. ❤️
What a journey it has been.
These two pictures represent so much more than school milestones to me. They represent perseverance, growth, sacrifice, faith, long nights, hard seasons, prayers, learning, laughter, tears, and the beauty of never giving up.
As a mother and homeschool educator, this moment is incredibly special because it reminds me that children truly can thrive when they are loved, supported, encouraged, and poured into consistently.
Watching my son graduate with honors after 12 years of homeschooling is a testimony that learning at home can be powerful, meaningful, and successful. ❤️
No journey is perfect.
No family story looks exactly the same.
But with support, patience, guidance, and dedication, beautiful things can happen.
I’m beyond proud of my son and incredibly thankful for everything this journey has taught both of us.
Parents… never underestimate the impact you can have on your child’s life.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on this page, but today feels like the right day to come back and share my heart. ❤️
This past weekend, my oldest son graduated from high school with honors after being homeschooled for the past 12 years.
And honestly… that moment meant so much more than a graduation to me.
It was a reminder that even through hard seasons, struggles, disappointments, fear, financial hardship, and moments of feeling completely overwhelmed… God can still allow beautiful things to grow.
Years ago, I found myself unexpectedly raising my son as a single mom. Life did not go the way I thought it would. There were seasons where I felt exhausted, discouraged, unqualified, and unsure if I was doing enough as a parent.
But one thing I never stopped doing was fighting for my child.
And over the years, God began placing something very heavy on my heart:
Families need support.
Parents need confidence.
Children need stronger foundations.
And education should feel possible for ALL families, not just those with unlimited money, childcare, private schools, tutors, or extra help.
That is one of the reasons The Fun Learning Zone was created. ❤️
This page is getting ready to become a place where families, educators, caregivers, homeschoolers, preschool teachers, daycare providers, expecting parents, and anyone passionate about children can find encouragement, educational tools, coaching, strategies, resources, ideas, and support.

I truly believe parents are their children’s first teachers, and I want families to know they are more capable than they think they are. ❤️

📚🍎📚 Did you know that your child has a LEARNING STYLE? It’s true! We all have fairly stable strengths and weaknesses in our cognitive abilities, such as processing information or language…
The idea of a “learning style” speaks to the understanding that every child learns differently... It is important for us as parents and/or caregivers to learn and strive to understand the differences in our children’s learning styles. This will help make teaching that much easier for us!😉

➡️There was a time when I was able to 🍎decorate an entire CLASSROOM,
- a time when I could 🍎decorate an entire PLAYROOM...
- but now that I’m in a small townhome, the only space I have is HALF of my KITCHEN and TWO WALLS. 😏🤷🏽♀️ It’s not what I’m used to, but IT WORKS,💯 and it can work for YOU too!!!🎉
