Howdy! We figured it was probably time to introduce the people behind Southern Roots Farm Co.

We’re Kael and Jadan Wilson, husband and wife, parents to three kiddos with baby #4 on the way, and the farmer and baker behind Southern Roots Farm Co.

Kael is the farmer. Jadan is the baker. A few years ago, we left the corporate life behind and decided to build a life that looked a little different.

Our journey really began with Ready, Set, Homestead. We started growing our own food, raising our own animals, and making more of our food from scratch.

Southern Roots Farm Co. grew out of that same heart.

We wanted to take what we were doing for our own family and make better food more accessible to the families around us.

A huge part of that is microgreens.

They may be tiny, but they’re one of our favorite ways to help families add fresh, locally grown greens to everyday meals without making healthy eating complicated. We grow them ourselves, harvest them fresh, and deliver them directly to families in our community.

Along with microgreens, Jadan keeps the ovens running with naturally fermented sourdough breads and other from scratch staples.

Our goal is pretty simple.

Grow good food.
Make good food.
And make healthier, local options a little easier for busy families.
