Sandy Creek Pen Rearing Project

The Sandy Creek Pen Rearing Project is in need of a boat this Saturday afternoon to tow the pens from BYC to the public boat launch after the fish are released. If you can help let me know. Thanks!

Hey Everyone
Looks like we should hit our target holding time for the Steelhead and we will be releasing them on Saturday afternoon May 2 at 1pm. We will need every available volunteer to help with the fish release and also with help to pull pens and feeders. Our goal is to have pull and everything put back in storage along with our fish release. We are in need of a boat to assist with the operation if anyone would like to volunteer. The crane is not working currently at the BYC so we will need to pull the pens at the public launch. After the release will split into 2 groups. One at the BYC and the other at the public launch.

Please make note that the yacht club has very limited parking at this time of the year. We are encouraging everyone to park at the parking area at Newco Dr and the parkway and carpool to the club.

Delivery update
Our steelhead delivery has been rescheduled for Thursday April 9 at 11am.

There will not be a Sandy Creek pen fish delivery tomorrow due to the insane water level of the creek since the storm. We are rescheduling for next week but I don't have a date set in stone yet. Once I know more I will update everyone. Spread the word! Thanks, Captain Rob
