Reaves Recovery and Rescue

Other night we had a call about a missing cat named Simon. Simon is a old man but got out while the owner was moving. Worried about losing him they decided to give us a call. We got started pretty late on this one it was well after midnight. It didn't take us long to spot Simon just hanging out in a golf course not far from home. Owner made the short trip over to him and it was awesome how happy he was to see his mom. She called his name a couple times and he perked up and went running right too her. I wish every cat call was this easy. It was a great way to end the long night and Simon is back home where he belongs.

Other night we got a call about 2 dogs a boxer and a pitty that were missing in Bethel ohio. In the first 15 minutes we were able to locate the boxer but unfortunately the pitty wasn't with him. Despite our best effort we were never did locate the pitty. He's a very friendly pup and loves people. So if you live in the Mt. Orab area near Grant lake be on the lookout.

Last night was a good night for us, we were fortunate enough to find a missing boxer that I will share the story to later. But we got word that the fox we found the night before was trapped where we found her! She was on the run for a few days and has no sightings for almost 2 days when we located her late at night running a golf course. This was the first time i ever looked for one! It was a pretty cool moment when 2 hours into looking we found her.

We have been pretty quite here lately with barely doing any searches. Some know but my wife Becca has officially been deployed for military duty for a year so I wanted to make the best of the last few days we had together before she left. With that said we are back in full force starting today. It's summer time is here which brings our enemy high heat and follage. We will only be doing searches at night for the next few months as this gives us our best chances in finding your pet. This also limits us to people we can help to 1 a night. Hope all is well with everyone.

We are back from vacation and charged up ready to go if we are needed. Thought id share a couple pictures from our vacation. We were lucky enough to see the most incredible northern lights I've ever seen while we were in Canada. Hope all is well.

Sadie is home after being on the run for over 24 hours! Last night we drove out to milford to look for a missing c**n hound Sadie. As the evening before a loud noise spooked her and she ran off. We got there at sunset and put the drone to work. It was a harder search but we were still seeing pretty good but after a couple hours into the search and still no Sadie we were losing hope. We had to make a move to cover an area better and on the 5th battery we finally found that heat signature we were looking for! We sent dad in to get Sadie and on the first attempt she wasn't having it. But the 2nd attempt we were in a better position and it all came together. When Sadie seen her dad she came running across a field about 50 yards and was so happy to finally see her family. There truly isn't nothing better then reuniting someone with their lost pet. I'm truly obsessed with it.
