Today in observance of Juneteenth, Inspiration Studios is closed. 😊

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on the importance of freedom, equality, and justice for all.

We look forward to seeing everyone when we reopen Monday. ❤️🖤💚

It’s time to get back to our Wellness Features! 💪🌿

This week, we’re focusing on literacy and physical fitness. Let’s hear what Ben has to share about working toward his goals through the Inclusive Wellness program!

“My favorite thing is going to the library. I love having the opportunity to explore all the different books. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and the staff here are great. I also like that I get to go to the Y because, before joining this program, I didn’t have a membership.”

✨ We are so excited to be supporting Ben—and all of our Inclusive Wellness clients—as they continue to grow, prioritize their health and wellness, and work toward meaningful goals in 2026! 💛

Today, Grace, Kim, Colton, and Adam (our Board President) had the opportunity to attend the Reds vs. Mets game to celebrate Inspiration Studios being named a finalist for Nonprofit Partner Team of the Year through Adopt A Class! We even had the chance to run into Teddy Kremer, one of our incredible board members. ❤️⚾️

A special thank you to Adopt A Class for generously providing us with four complimentary tickets as part of our Mentor Team partnership. 🧡💙

We’re honored to partner with such an amazing organization and are already looking forward to another wonderful year with our students when the new school year begins! 📚✏️

We’re back with some new artwork of the week – featuring Michael Smith and Rebecca Zareski 😊

🎨 Michael
Michael Smith's art style is whimsical, colorful, and inspired by graphic motifs that influence much of his imagery. His fused glass suncatcher was a fun piece to create, and he especially enjoyed watching the image come together as he worked, choosing colors that are among his personal favorites. Michael says Inspiration Studios has positively impacted his life by surrounding him with supportive staff and fellow artists who serve as role models and help him learn not only about art but also about making positive choices in his everyday life. While he doesn't have one specific favorite project, he particularly enjoys working with glass because it reminds him of building something. Michael often brings his own crafting materials to the studio during downtime and enjoys using those creative projects as inspiration for future artwork he can share in the gallery.

🎨 Rebecca
Rebecca describes her art style as varied and enjoys exploring different subjects and techniques rather than creating the same type of artwork all the time. She especially loves working with glass and often finds inspiration in flowers, beach themes, and seasonal designs. For her flower garden stake, Rebecca chose colors she felt worked well together and immediately knew she wanted to create a flower design. Since it was her first time making a garden stake, she enjoyed the opportunity to try something new and had a lot of fun throughout the process. Rebecca says Inspiration Studios has expanded her artistic experiences by allowing her to work with mediums like clay and glass that she would not typically have access to at home. One of her favorite projects at InsideOut Studio was painting fire hydrants last summer. She enjoyed the unique opportunity and said it was something she never would have imagined doing, making it a memorable and exciting experience.

Creativity is shining bright during our Booker T Washington Community Center Summer Art Program! ☀️🎨

This week, the kiddos at the center are creating beautiful fused glass suncatchers while exploring color, design, and self-expression through hands-on art experiences. We love seeing their creativity come to life and can't wait to share the finished pieces!

This project is made possible through the generous support of the HIGHER Fund and the Youth Philanthropy Committee at the Hamilton Community Foundation (OH). 😊

It’s time for our next Wellness Feature! 💪🌿

This year, we’re highlighting each pillar of wellness through the voices of our Inclusive Wellness clients. This week, we’re focusing on nutrition and life skills. Let’s hear what Amy has to share about Inclusive Wellness!

“My favorite thing to do here is cook, especially learning how to make scrambled eggs. I liked learning about the food groups and how to have a healthy diet. Since I live on my own, I use many of the skills I’ve learned here every day. I enjoy the staff here and love playing Bingo and games with my friends. I have learned a lot and enjoy being part of the program.”

✨ We are so excited to support Amy—and all of our Inclusive Wellness clients—as they continue to grow, prioritize their health and wellness, and work toward meaningful goals in 2026! 💛
