We're continuing our Pride Month outreach by celebrating our time at PRIDE Middletown June 12! 🏳️‍🌈

💙 Our 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline team—Mya Nguyen, Megan Stagge, Helena Hitch, Gillian Murray, and Sierrah Miller—spent the day meeting people, answering questions, sharing resources, and talking about the support available through 988.

One number really stood out: our team connected with 136 people, and 76 of them had never heard of 988 before.

✨ That's exactly why showing up at community events matters. Every conversation is a chance to let someone know that help is available, whether they're facing a mental health crisis, feeling overwhelmed, worried about a loved one, or simply need someone to talk to. You never know when a quick conversation today could help someone find support tomorrow.

We're grateful to be part of events like Middletown Pride that bring people together, celebrate authenticity, and create opportunities to connect our community with important resources.

Sometimes the smallest items can make the biggest difference. 💙

A package of diapers. A baby blanket. A few essentials that help a new mom feel supported and cared for.

On June 24, Butler County United Way is bringing our community together to assemble care packages for mothers and babies served through the Sojourner Perinatal Program. These care packages provide practical support and encouragement for women working toward healthy futures for themselves and their children.

Want to help? You can donate baby items, volunteer your time, or simply learn more about this incredible effort.

As we celebrate Pride Month, Community Health Alliance is proud to be part of events that promote inclusion, connection, and support for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and allies throughout our region.

This month, team members from our 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline program attended both the Dayton Pride Celebration and Hamilton Pride Festival, sharing resources and connecting community members with the free, confidential crisis support that's available 24/7.

At Dayton Pride, Mya Nguyen, Megan Stagge, and Ethan Taylor joined the celebration as the Greater Dayton LGBT Center marked its 50th anniversary of advocacy, support, and service to the LGBTQ+ community.

At Hamilton Ohio Pride, Alainnah Scott, Sarah Totten, Shane Joseph, Kelsey Wilzbach, Ethan Taylor, and Ella Maher represented our 988 team while celebrating a community dedicated to diversity, belonging, and the freedom to live authentically.

At Community Health Alliance, we know that feeling connected and supported is essential to mental wellness. That's why events like these matter—they help create welcoming spaces, foster understanding, and remind people that help is always available when it's needed.

If you've been traveling along Erie Boulevard in City of Hamilton, lately, you may have spotted some new Community Health Alliance bus bench graphics! 👀

Pictured here is Chloe (daughter of Kendra Hall, our Director of Early Childhood and Prevention Services) taking a quick break while checking out one of the new benches.

💙 Every mother deserves a healthy start.

Our Perinatal Program provides prevention, support, and recovery services for pregnant and postpartum women facing substance use challenges. We know motherhood can be challenging, and addiction can make that journey even more difficult. That's why we're here to provide compassionate care, encouragement, and practical support for both mom and baby.

Because healthier beginnings create stronger families!

Sometimes the mind can be loud. Thoughts, feelings, and past experiences can feel overwhelming—but they don't define who you are.

Take a moment today to notice your thoughts without becoming them. Feel your emotions without letting them control you. Remember that your story is still being written, and every day is a new opportunity to choose your next chapter.
