Being a responsible firearm owner is making sure that your firearm is in working condition. Every new firearm comes with a printed owner's manual which covers safety and maintenance. Everyone should always read that manual to learn how to properly use, what ammo is safe to use, how to safely breakdown, clean and reassemble the firearm. It is absolutely your responsibility to secure your fi****ms at times in a properly fitting holster when worn, in a safe when you MUST leave it in a vehicle, in a secured drawer or safe at home.
