🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
Today, we celebrate the American flag—a symbol of our nation's history, ideals, and the enduring promise of freedom and democracy.
First observed in recognition of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes on June 14, 1777, Flag Day offers an opportunity to reflect on the generations of Americans who have worked to build, strengthen, and defend our country.
As we proudly display our flag, let us also recommit ourselves to the values it represents: liberty, equality, justice, and civic engagement.
Happy Flag Day from all of us! ❤️🤍💙

Attention Hamden: I have been in communication with the Hamden Police Chief regarding the incident at the middle school today. Preliminary information reveals that a bomb threat was made today. Officers from Hamden and New Haven "swept" the building, used bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad was utilized. The good news is that it was an empty threat and all students and staff were evacuated as a precaution and are safe and accounted for.

Remembering D-Day today. The many men and woman who stormed those faraway shores, miles from home and fought for our freedoms will never be forgotten. May we honor their sacrifice and uphold the freedoms they fought to preserve.

With so many important issues debated at the State Capitol each legislative session, I’m proud that I was able to make sure my constituents had a voice in matters that impact them. I’m dedicated to supporting our communities and working to help solve problems in Connecticut and the 17th Senate district.
