When the kids take the stage: Violent Vira at Toad’s Place
“As the final songs echoed through the historic New Haven venue, the night underscored why artists like Violent Vira continue to attract passionate young audiences. Beyond the music, the concert served as a gathering place for a generation searching for identity, community and a voice.“

Go get L.U.C.K.Y. with Fcukers at Toad’s Place
“One of my personal favorites ‘if you wanna party, come over to my house,’ had just about everyone moving the whole time. I loved how Fcukers adapted their electronic sound to a live show while still keeping a club music feel. Lead singer Shanny Wise’s soft voice glided mellifluously over whatever track they decided to play behind her. More importantly, she was the life of the party on stage, constantly interacting with the crowd and imploring them to dance along.”

Lamb of God sent us “Into Oblivion” with their star-studded lineup at Mohegan Sun
“Last but not least were the legends of heavy metal themselves, Lamb of God. There’s no frontman more energetic than Randy Blythe, and nobody but him could get a crowd more alive after surviving through three of the heaviest sets known to man. Lamb of God kept the setlist fresh and interesting, playing all their classic hits like ‘Walk With Me in Hell’ and ‘Laid to Rest,’ while throwing in some newer tracks off ‘Into Oblivion,’ their 12th studio album, which was released this year.
Lamb of God’s stage setup was awesome, to say the least. A mesmerizing array of screens behind them was lined with giant skulls and pulsating lasers that made you feel immersed in songs like ‘Resurrection Man.’ Visually, they were stunning, and you could feel the music too. The abrupt start of ‘Parasocial Christ’ shook Mohegan Sun like an earthquake; the chugging riffs of Mark Morton and Willie Adler could be felt in your chest.”

Hail the Sun Brings their post‑hardcore pulse to Norwalk
“Melero also shouted out the new wave of artists shaping the scene, noting, ‘Julia Wolf would be great — I’m a big fan of her music.’ For anyone looking for a night of expression, community and the kind of performance that hits deeper than the volume alone, a crowd letting all that goes on around us.”

Quantum Accelerator launches a new generation of family thrills at Six Flags New England
“It has been nine years since Six Flags New England opened a new coaster. It has been 11 years since their last custom designed coaster opened, and it has been 27 years since they last had an operating launch coaster. That all changes on April 16, as the park is debuting their 12th coaster, Quantum Accelerator… Thank you to Six Flags New England & Alpha and Omega Entertainment for inviting me out to preview the attraction on April 16. A heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this attraction to life.”

Fetty Wap wants you to come around “Again” at The Webster
“It was surreal to be in the crowd that night, standing at the barricade the experience felt incredibly interactive compared to any concert I had been to previously. Instead of only photographers and managers of the set rummaging in between barricade and stage, Fetty has a tradition of bringing his entire family to each concert he does. Once he was released and on tour again since 2022, if you’re at barricade you are inches away from accidentally talking to a close family member of his.”
