Kelley Dolphus Stroud walked and hitchhiked 1,765 miles from Denver to Boston in 1928 after being denied promised money for travel for the Olympic trials because he was Black. 🙏
The 21-year-old reached the stadium six hours before the race, collapsed on the sixth lap from exhaustion, yet went on to graduate cm laude, making history at Colorado College, and inspiring generations.
His legacy is now being honored through documentaries, tributes, and renewed recognition of the runner who refused to quit. Let's spread the word! 👏

They have whitewashed this out of the history books but it will not die. TRUTH, doesn’t DIE!!:
The Tulsa race massacre was a two-day-long white supremacist terrorist[13][14] massacre[15] that took place in the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, between May 31 and June 1, 1921. Mobs of white residents, some of whom had been appointed as deputies and armed by city government officials,[16] attacked black residents and destroyed homes and businesses. The event is considered one of the worst incidents of racial violence in American history

It is still Wednesday and I was born on a Wednesday. That explains a lot! For one thing, it explains why hump day is my favorite day of the week!
