Per Sallaum Lines, effective November 2, 2026, the following rate increases will be implemented due to rising fuel, labor, and operational costs:
-Automobiles: +$50 per unit
-Trucks & High Heavy Cargo: +$2 CBM
-NonRunner Trucks from Jacksonville, FL & Freeport, TX increased to $1,850

Per ACL, “We have been informed by port security, that Tuesday, October 6th, the hiring hall parking lot (area where the non TWIC card holders usually gather to await es**rt) will be closed for an event. There is no alternative waiting area so you should inform all non TWIC card holders to expect delays upon arrival. There will be no expansion of receiving hours. Any delays can be mitigated by choosing an another day to deliver.”

Ghanem Port Update - Sallaum Lines Baltimore Port Notice: Please note and advise your drivers accordingly. Please send booking / dock receipt requests to [email protected] – Please email [email protected] for towing cars to port.

Per Sallaum, “Due to road work and construction at the Tradepoint Atlantic Terminal in Baltimore, our receiving operations will be closed on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026.

Tradepoint will resume operations with normal receiving hours on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026.

Please note that our SLP Baltimore terminal remains open with normal receiving hours.”

Important RORO Notice - Sallaum Lines BAF Increase Effective Monday, November 2nd, 2026: Please note announcement received today from Sallaum Line. “Due to the ongoing conflict and instability in the Persian Gulf, fuel prices continue to reach record high levels. To maintain the highest level of service for our customers, Sallaum Lines must implement the following BAF increase on all cargo delivered on or after Monday, November 2nd, 2026:
+ $50 per unit for Automobiles and Vehicles
+ $2 per CBM for High & Heavy Cargo (Category 1 and 2)
We will continue to closely monitor market conditions and will revise or remove this increase as soon as conditions allow.”
