Buster Rae

Today would have been Buster’s 15th birthday.

I didn’t have Buster from the beginning of his life. He came into my world just two months before his 8th birthday.

Some people might think that means I only had a few years with him… but what it really means is that I was lucky enough to give him a beautiful chapter in the story of his life...and in return, he gave me more love than I ever thought possible.

Buster wasn’t just a dog. He was comfort, loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love all wrapped into one sweet soul.

The house is definitely quieter without him, even though Otis Titan Rae is ten times louder and noisier. Some days still feel a little heavier...but the love he gave never left...it’s still here in every memory and every pawprint on my heart.

So today we celebrate you, Buster.
Your life mattered. Your love mattered. And you will always be part of me.
Happy Heavenly 15th Birthday, my sweet boy. 🐾🎈

Buster Rae loved Dr. Downie at Banfield Pet Hospital in PetSmart at Garland Groh. All the staff and doctors are top notch.

In Loving Memory of Buster Rae
March 11, 2011 – August 21, 2025

With heavy hearts, I'm sharing that my beloved Buster Rae crossed the rainbow bridge today, August 21, 2025, at 2:25pm, in my arms.

Buster was born on March 11, 2011, and although we were not in each other's lives, I can only imagine from the moment he entered this world, he brought boundless joy, comfort, and unconditional love to his previous owner.

Since coming into my life, in February of 2019, he was more than just a faithful companion—he was family, protector, and truly my best friend. His playful spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Buster Rae’s days were filled with simple pleasures—walks, treats, snuggles, and the constant joy of being by my side. He had an extraordinary gift for sensing when comfort was needed and giving love without hesitation. His presence was a source of strength through life’s challenges and a reminder of pure, selfless devotion.

Though his time on earth has come to a close, the memories of his wagging tail, soulful eyes, and the countless moments of happiness he gave will live on forever.

Buster Rae will be missed beyond words but remembered always with love. He leaves behind pawprints on the hearts of all who knew him, especially me. He was my world as much as I was his.

Rest peacefully, sweet Buster. You were truly one of a kind. I'm going to be lost without you.

Good woofy morning. Oh my guys, I'm really tired. My little legs don't want to walk anymore. I slept really good, right next to My Michelle. She carried me outside to p*e, then put me here. It's all good though because I can see the television and she laid one of my favorite blankets under me!
