Our rabbits got off to a late start this year, but it looks like well6have bunnies for the June swap.
We have 2 fat baby lops a week old, and 4 or 5 baby rexes about a week old too. We don't know exact counts because they are still buried in the nests.
Today we were gifted with 5 new Florida whites and another 2 or 3 rexes. We only know the exact count on the whites because they were born on the wire, but are now nestled in a nest.
More babies due over the course of the next week!

Tonight I had fun with a different kind of winged creature. Not butterfliesπŸ¦‹, not fairies, CHICKENS! πŸ”πŸ¦ƒ
Since Bryan wasn't around to stop me, I closed the Fort Apache gate and opened up the chicken yard!
It was a flocking good time while I fed and watered all the buns and chicks.❀

From our friends at two by two rabbitry.

Happy 'Bunday Monday'! Today we take a look at one of the oldest breeds of domestic rabbit, and if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting one, you would know just how unique they are. This is a breed that we started raising at the beginning of this year and we LOVE them! We raise black and are working with blues, although blue is not yet an accepted color. If you are interested in raising Silvers or already do, leave a comment below, we love to meet current or potential breeders!
