The Sheets - Moore House in Lost Haddonfield
Originally built by John A. J. Sheets, who owned a lumber business in Philly and Camden and was a Haddonfield Commissioner, the house was inherited by his son who then sold it to Henry D. Moore who moved his family there in 1894. The Moores performed alterations to the twenty eight room mansion, which included a larger turreted porch. The property had barns, a carriage house, ice house, tool house and many other accessories on the six acre estate. The house was demoed in 1960 along with a property at 200 Warwick Road, creating the street known as Moore Lane
