Please be on the lookout for an important email from the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE), Office of Special Education, regarding the annual Special Education Parent Involvement Survey. You likely received it yesterday, May 18.

This survey is part of a statewide effort to gather feedback from parents and guardians about their experiences participating in their child’s special education program, including speech-language services when applicable. The information collected helps the NJDOE evaluate and improve special education programs, services, parent involvement, and student outcomes across the state.

The survey is voluntary and confidential, and it should take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. Families will receive a unique login ID to access the online survey.

We strongly encourage all families who receive the survey to participate, as your feedback plays an important role in identifying strengths and areas for growth within special education services and supports. We have been told that the anonymous, compiled information coming out of this survey will be shared with SEPAG so that we can collaborate with the District to make improvements to our IEP process.

Thank you for your time and partnership.

The High School Unified Club and Unified Bowling Team are excited to host our 2nd Annual Walk for Acceptance on June 7, 2026. This year, the walk will once again be held at the Audubon High School track!

Please see the attached flyer for additional details on the walk. We are hoping for a huge Haddonfield turnout on June 7th! Bring your family and friends! If you are unable to attend the walk but would still like to support the event, donations are welcome, and t-shirts are available for purchase.

This year’s t-shirt was designed by one of our own students, Lucas Wonson (Elizabeth Haddon Class of 2020, HMS Class of 2023, and HMHS Class of 2027). Please see the front/back of the t-shirt in the comments.

If you would like to order a t-shirt by cash, check or venmo, please complete the order form (link below). You can mail your cash or check to the address in the link or interoffice to either me (at Central Elementary) or Maddie (at the high school). Or you can venmo to the address on the order form. The purchase of a t-shirt gets you into the walk (no additional ticket purchase is necessary). Please note that all t-shirt orders are due by May 22nd and will arrive prior to the walk.

At-Risk Individual Registration Form - Formstack 04/13/2026

Haddonfield Police Department has a Special Needs Registry. Here is the description:

The Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens. The registry was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel to better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a registrant’s disability, emergency contact information, a physical description and current photograph of the registrant. The goal of the Special Needs Registry is to ensure all residents who have Special Needs and/or elderly and needing occasional assistance are able to get the help and support they need in a time of emergency or during interaction with Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS personnel.
