📢 Important update for families using the self-directed model in New Jersey

The state has returned to the policy that Self-Directed Employees (SDEs) cannot work more than 40 hours per week for one individual. Any hours beyond that now need to be covered by another SDE or an agency-employed DSP.

For families relying on extra SDE hours, this change may feel stressful, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
