They were on the road to building generational wealth!

Pr***en siblings launched Stock Up Kids, a brand focused on teaching other children about the stock market, according to TheGrio.

Kali, 13, and Spirit, 11, Rahman were a brother-and-sister duo who became interested in the stock market at a young age through paper trading on a financial app. They later used what they learned to launch Stock Up Kids and help other children build financial literacy.

It is now officially against the law in New York for retail stores and food establishments to be “cashless only.”

With the signing of New York Senate Bill S4153A by Kathy Hochul, the state is requiring “retail establishments” and “food stores” to accept cash payments for in-person transactions and it took effect March 20, 2026. This applies to Restaurants, cafes, bars and retail stores (clothing, convenience stores, etc.)

This law is really about access and fairness, not just payment preference.

💡 Who it benefits most: People without bank accounts (“unbanked”) - Millions of people don’t have debit or credit cards. This includes lower-income communities, immigrants, and some elderly folks 👉 Cash is their only way to pay, so this keeps them from being excluded

Bottom line… if a spot tries to hit you with “card only,” they’re violating the law and could get fined 💸 If you’re physically there trying to pay, they can’t refuse your cash.

NY really said everybody eats. 🗽 Have you ever been somewhere that refused cash? iHeartRadio

Tyler Perry paused new soundstages after seeing AI filmmaking tools change production costs...

Tyler Perry announced plans to expand his Atlanta studio complex into a broader “Tyler Perry Entertainment District,” a 1.3-million-square-foot development combining production, business, and community space. The shift came after he paused construction of additional soundstages, explaining that rapid advances in artificial intelligence filmmaking tools had changed how large physical sets might be used.

Perry said publicly that emerging AI video systems could generate environments without traditional stage builds, reducing the need for massive physical infrastructure. Industry analysts have echoed that virtual production and generative video are beginning to reshape cost structures in film and television. For a studio owner who built one of the largest production campuses in the United States, the change carries strategic implications.

Rather than expanding only soundstage capacity, Perry’s district concept integrates offices, retail, and creative spaces designed for long-term media ecosystems. His Atlanta studio already sits on a former military base and has been central to Black-owned production expansion in Hollywood’s geographic shift toward Georgia.

The pivot reflects how technology is altering physical production economics. Perry’s decision signals adaptation rather than retreat. It also shows how creators with infrastructure investments must reconsider future demand. The conversation extends beyond one studio: if AI reduces set construction needs, the entire film production landscape may evolve.
