If you are a Paterson New Jersey resident, the city local pools are now open for registration, and the pool will open on July 1, 2024. REMEMBER TO KEEP IN MIND IF THE CHILD YOU ARE REGISTERING IS UNDER THE AGE OF 13 THEY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AND ADULT AGE 18 AND OLDER.

Weekly Food Distribution: Newark Public Schools Drive Up & Go Food Distribution

1,000 boxes of food will be given away
Food boxes include:
fruits, vegetables, and chicken

Cars must enter at Pacific Street and Chestnut Street .
(Walk-ups welcome at Pacific Street and E. Kinney Street.)

Attention residents! 📅 The application deadline for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is June 30th. LIHEAP-eligible gas and electric customers with a shut-off notice or who have been disconnected, may be eligible to receive additional emergency assistance toward their overdue balance. Please apply online before midnight on June 30th at: www.energyassistance.nj.gov, or 📲 call 800-510-3102 to find a local agency near you. Mailed or emailed applications to a local agency must be postmarked or received by the deadline. The LIHEAP application also serves as an application for the Universal Service Fund (USF) program.
