What a fun night at South Effingham High FFA 2nd annual Daddy-Daughter Dance!

🎣 WE’RE GOING TO STATE! 🏆
From a 5:00 AM launch to the final weigh-in, these guys gave it everything they had on the water today! 🌅

It was a grueling, long day for the team and their boat captain, Mr. Brian Turner, but the hard work paid off in a massive way. Out of a huge field of 195 boats, they secured a 21st-place finish to punch their ticket to the State Championship! 🎟️

The South Effingham Bass Fishing team has been busy on the water! Check out these highlights from the recent Effingham JV Tournament, where the team reeled in a massive 5-fish limit weighing over 11 pounds! 🐟🔥

But the grind doesn’t stop there. After a slow start to the season, the momentum is officially shifting. We are currently at Lake Hartwell for our very first qualifier of the year!

Huge shoutout and good luck to Landon Turner and Ethan Darrow as they take on the water tomorrow. Another special thanks to head coach, Hollie Mildbrant, for all of her hard work as well! Let’s show them what South Effingham is made of!

We are incredibly proud of Ryder English for being one of only two students in Effingham County selected for the "Setting Your Sights on Medical School" program at Mercer University! 🩺🩹

Through this 4-H partnership, Ryder got a hands-on look at the world of medicine—practicing everything from intubation to ultrasound procedures. 🧬

Seeing our students represent our school with such curiosity and ambition is what it’s all about. Thanks, Ryder, for representing SEHS in this opportunity!
