We are so excited to invite all of are educators from across the valley to our READ Campaign Kickoff Event on June 20 from 12 PM to 5 PM at the Gustine Traveling Library, 417 5th Street in Gustine! 📚🌿

During the event, we will also be celebrating the completion of our Children’s Garden upgrade with a special sign unveiling at 12:30 P.M.

Our team is happy to support The Merced County Fair early childhood literacy program! Any opportunity to get free books into the hands of our youth is a great one!

Last call for book donations! 📚 As part of our Early Childhood Literacy Partnership Program, we’re inviting the community to help us stock the shelves for this year’s Merced County Fair Reading Zone!

Stop by the Merced School Employees Federal Credit Union branch in Merced or Atwater to donate a new or gently used children’s book and support our pre-Fair Book Drive. Every book collected helps ensure that each child who visits the Reading Zone during the Fair can take home a free book of their own! 🙌

Together, we’re building a love of reading, supporting local families, and creating even more opportunities for kids to learn, grow, and imagine. Join us in helping turn the page for another great year!

These boxes are already looking amazing, and there is still more garden magic to come. Once our talented artist-in-residence Liz Petitt is back home, she’ll be adding her creative touch and helping turn them into something extra special for the kids.
