Monthly Update May 2026!

Why is it a mid month update?! Because we've been setting up social media for scheduled posts and apparently they haven't been triggering over the past 2 weeks!

Anyways!

Southridge Mall is........ Moving along! After some insurance complications we're a little behind schedule but should be open by the end of May!

Ender 3 for scale!

More filament has been stocked this week, our Gurnee location is slightly less stocked than normal as we split our filament into another location!

But we're excited to keep moving forward!

Our K-9 Cadet is designed by Printverse Crafts and is an amazing display paired along with the Dalmation Fire Pup!

Both of these items are on display IN STORE at our Gurnee Mills location and will be donated and auctioned off at the Rods for Remembrance Event in the Gurnee Mills parking lot on May 17th!

Firmware update is finally available!

Our recommendation is to always wait a week or so after releases to verify no reports of problems!

But we'll be updating immediately and running all the tests to make sure we don't run into any bugs!

Beginners classes are now available! Classes are beginning in May, with more scheduled regularly throughout the year. So don't fear if you're unable to attend in May!

While we gauge our supply/demand for beginner classes, availability may be more sporadic while we find a healthy balanced schedule for us and our community! Any changes to schedule or additions will be announced through social media and/or email marketing campaigns!

We've been SOOO incredibly busy with background work we flat out missed our April 1st post!

What's new:

1) The Snapmaker U1 has arrived for our destructive purposes! We will push every filament and setting to the max to give you our "Printcess Approval!"
So far it has lived up to it's reputation quite well and if the next 30 days goes how we imagine, we'll begin wholesaling order for in store!

3) Dummy 13's released mid March! After about maybe "67" prototypes or so, we finally have our version dialed in to our liking!

4) Our Gurnee Mills location has it's first full-time employee! Some of you have met him already! But we'll be doing a meet-and-greet highlight soon!
