We are reviving the old family farm in the same place that my family came to as pioneers and farmed in the 1840's and currently on family land from the late 1800's. We are a family farm growing all organic, non-GMO, and heirloom produce. We hope that we can reconnect you back to the land, the farmer, and to the food that you eat daily. We hope that we can inspire you and your family.

On a year like this with the heat and grasshoppers it's all about getting the crop we have preserved one way or another. I'm freezing these for smoothies.

Cucumbers are taking the heat and grasshoppers pretty well.

Butternut squash did well this year even with the grasshoppers. They are ready by the time the leaves are eaten and the squash is too hard for the bugs to eat.

Looks like the butternut squash, okra, tomatoes and cucumbers were the right thing to grow this year. Grasshoppers are eating everything else.
