Jill and Dale thank everyone for persevering through the rain Sunday and competing at our Spring Horse Show. Also thank you to the staff, and of course all of the parents and friends who attended. Please email or post pictures!

Yesterday, we held our 20th annual Jumpathon For St. Jude Children's Hospital in our indoor arena. Over 30 GRS riders participated, and pledges are in for over $5,000.00, all of it donated to the charity. Normally, St. Jude sponsors a Saddle Up program, but it is a trail ride. Jill Walter-Robinson, co-owner, invented the Jumpathon as a way for kids to collect pledges for their equestrian performance. Thank you all for a great day. We still have spaces available for our 2024 Ride N' Splash Summer Half Day Programs. We have 6 sessions designated Absolute Beginner, and one week for Mini-Mights. All the rest for more experienced riders. Campers ride for 1.5 hours, spend barn time grooming and attending a seminar, and end each half day session with a cool off swim. We are seeking a morning worker/groom. Part time M-F as many days as will fit your schedule. Duties include feed, hay, water, turn out, muck and groom horses for lessons. Hours are 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. $Minimum wage. You must have either owned or worked with horses to apply -- great family environment, close to town...love horses?
