They are NOT a bonded pair…they’re just the last of their littermates waiting for their forevers to find them (littermates should never be adopted out together).

They are even cuter in person, super sweet, social, playful, cuddly little dachshund/chihuahua type mix pups…only about 10 weeks old and about 5 lbs. each.

🩷 MUFFIN brightened everyone’s day at the vet today! We wanted to have her eye checked just to make sure she didn’t need any specialized ophthalmology care, and we got wonderful news…everything looks great!

It appears she likely experienced a trauma related injury long ago, but thankfully no further treatment or special care is needed.

We had such a lovely visit with the sweetest team including vet techs Alex (pictured) and Corinne, along with Dr. Wilcox, the ophthalmologist. Everyone was so warm, engaging, and completely smitten with little MUFFIN.

Huge thank you to the ophthalmology department at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. You can truly tell they are genuine animal lovers! 🩷
