February for CTAE Month, our Cosmetology Department went beyond the classroom by inviting experienced industry professionals into our space, we gave students direct access to real-world knowledge, entrepreneurship insight, and specialized skill sets within the beauty industry.
One of our guest was no other than my Beauty Boss friend 💗

For the past several months, I’ve had the honor of serving as a Community Liaison with , working alongside residents, students, and local leaders to listen, learn, and build something meaningful for our city.
Today, I’m incredibly proud to finally share what we’ve grown together.
🌱 Introducing MOVE: Augusta’s Community Justice Site
MOVE stands for Mobilize • Organize • Vision • Empower and it represents a new community rooted space where healing, leadership, and collective power can take root right here in Augusta.
A Community Justice Site is a place created through Learning for Justice’s national initiative to cultivate dialogue, reflection, and action among those closest to injustice. These sites are designed to nurture community wisdom, strengthen connections, and support the development of sustainable solutions for our future.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Grovetown 💙✨
While I didn’t win this election, I’m proud of the campaign we ran: positive, people centered, and rooted in love for our city. I extend my sincere congratulations to Veronica Simpkins and Jacqueline Rivera on their victories for Grovetown City Council. I’m praying for your success and I stand ready to support any effort that moves our community forward.
To my family, volunteers, donors, and every neighbor who knocked doors, made calls, waved signs, and cast a vote thank you. You gave me your time, your encouragement, and your trust. That energy doesn’t end today. I will continue showing up for Grovetown lifting community voices, and creating spaces where we can learn, heal, and grow together.
Elections come and go, but our commitment to one another remains. Let’s keep building bridges, and doing the daily work of community. I’m not going anywhere 😉 and I’m excited for what we’ll create next.
