This is Zoey, a 14 week old Cockapoo. We have the privilege of working with her this week. Along with good puppy and leash manners, she has learned wait, down, stay, stand, come, and go to your bed. She gets to show off for her owners tomorrow

We’re having fun this week with Venom, a 6 month old German Shepherd dog. He is a sweet boy who struggles with anxiety. We are working on his listening skills and building trust.

Meet the Training Helpers at Ruff Work. Suki is an almost two year old Miniature Australian/American Shepherd, Lance is a 9 year old Standard Poodle, and Skylar is a 4 year old Pomeranian-Silky Terrier Cross.

Xylitol is a healthy sugar alternative found in certain chewing gum brands, but it can cause serious damage to dogs’ insulin levels. Make sure you keep any and all Xylitol gum far out of our furry friends’ reach, they can be too curious for their own good!

One of our previous puppy pupils found her way into her owner’s pack of Xylitol gum this week and had to be hospitalized. Sending you our prayers, Chloe!

Meet Sampson. We have enjoyed having this big pup with us for training. His energy level is very high, but so is his desire to please. He has learned to be a gentleman on the leash, down, stay, wait, come, and to go to his bed.
