Congratulations Mrs. Madison and Mrs. Barbin for winning SRNS grants that will support science and Steam initiatives in our school! Thank you SRNS for this amazing opportunity!

Mrs. Madison and Mrs. Barbin were honored last night as recipients of an Innovative Teaching Mini Grant from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions! These two are always up to something exciting in their classrooms, and we know these funds will continue to help engage, enrich, and inspire their students!

Ms. Fiegen’s class enjoyed their last day of school with a luau and superlatives! We’re so proud of how far these kiddos have come this year and are excited to watch 3 of them head to middle school! 🎓🎉❤️💙

Our fifth graders wrapped up the school year with the ultimate last day celebration! From pizza and watermelon to cold drinks, laughter, and lots of fun, our luau-themed party was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year together. 🌴🍉🍕

Science was extra sweet in 4th grade! ☀️🍫🔥

Our students made solar s’mores while learning about solar energy and how the sun’s heat can be used to cook food. Students loved building their solar ovens, testing their designs, and of course enjoying the tasty results!

Hands-on learning + melted chocolate = a great day in 4th grade! 😄

Congratulations to 5th graders Peyton and Emmanuel, who received the Johns Award for Cedar Ridge Elementary School for the 2025–2026 school year.

Students are chosen based on how well they exemplify the qualities of good citizenship, respect for teachers and fellow students, and striving to reach their personal best.

Teacher of the Year Lauren O’Neil presented the awards with help from Rotary Club member Tara McNaylor.
