Pumpkin Pie Punch

Cream soda + vodka + pumpkin ice cream = Pumpkin pie-flavored cocktail you'll drink by the half-gallon. And then black out.

As we enter the most fabulous season of the year let's stay inspired by the weddings we have planned that have those delicious fall colors!

It is really all about priorities. I had a wonderful couple who had a LARGE guest list and a small budget. We were cutting corners left and right. But they had one priority: Top Shelf Tequila. So when you are making choices, think about what you want the most, put those items on the top of the list and do not worry about the cost!

Small weddings can be magical (and affordable!). Consider booking an entire bed and breakfast and then having the wedding there! Amazing!

I especially love when the family pet has received a place in the processional. One of my favorite "puppy moments". You decide, who is walking who down the aisle!?!

The Mother of the Bride often is quite involved with the planning of the wedding, but my favorite tradition, that is her duty, is that once the entire bridal party has made it to the alter, she is to stand up. With this gesture, she is in essence, announcing the bride.

With Mothers Day coming up, I of course am thinking about Moms and Weddings.

For the Mother of the Groom it can be difficult because most of the planning usually falls on the brides family's shoulders. The one thing the groom's mother has is the Mother-Son Dance. So make that special for her! Let her choose her own music (if she wants) for that dance. Not all mom's, but A LOT will love it.

It is almost summertime, but here on the Central Coast the fog is rolling in (which happens here alot in summer). Not to worry if you have a beach wedding planned. I am told by many photographer friends that the fog is great for photos. When it is sunny and bright it is harder to get good shots because of the glare. So hooray for fog!
