Two years. No accidents. As part of National Safety Month, we're recognizing our Seattle terminal for maintaining that standard. Moving freight is physical, fast-moving work. Staying safe is a discipline built into every shift.

The Seattle team does the work that makes a difference: pre-shift forklift inspections, secured dock doors, constant communication, and horns at every blind corner and trailer entry. Small habits that prevent big incidents.

They've maintained that standard through a full warehouse move and new facility setup when safety is hardest to prioritize and easiest to overlook. That's not luck. That's culture.

Please join us in congratulating Charles & Tiffany M., a husband-and-wife owner operator team in our OTR division, who recently celebrated 15 years on the road with Forward!

Married for more than 20 years, Charles and Tiffany bring decades of experience and dedication to the Forward team.

Charles began his driving career 42 years ago, driving a dump truck and hauling equipment around Houston. After learning the ropes from his uncle and gaining experience with several carriers, he began buying and running his own trucks.

Tiffany started her driving career when she teamed up with Charles in 2004. Together, they joined Forward in 2011 and have been a valued part of our team ever since.

"We picked Forward because they run air freight, it's all drop & hook, and we don't have to worry about trailers. Anytime I call, if we've got a problem with a trailer, they get it fixed."

As a Company Driver in our Local Pick-Up & Delivery division, Dale's hard work and three decades of experience have made him a foundational piece of the local operations at our terminal in Milwaukee.

Always ready to make a positive impact, Dale is a friendly face who takes pride in being a great representative of Forward and building relationships with our customers while always providing top-tier service.

Reflecting on Dale's impact, our Milwaukee Terminal Manager shared, "Dale is the kind of person who makes a lasting impression. A devoted husband, proud father & mentor. He leads with kindness, integrity, and a genuine care for others. His commitment to safety and his willingness to support those around him have shaped the team around him. Dale's positive attitude and leadership make a difference every day."

After 30 years behind the wheel, Dale continues to be a great teammate who gives his all for our customers, and we're excited to thank him for the impact he's made over the years.

Forward has been nominated as a Top Company for Women to Work in Trucking and drivers like Rebecca D. are exactly why.

Rebecca has been a Company Driver at our Charlotte terminal for 25 years. She handles local pick-up and delivery, works the dock, preloads trailers, and trains the next generation of drivers.

In her own words:
"Being a female in trucking 20 years ago, there really weren't very many female drivers. When I started at Forward, I was the only female local driver on our team, and my attitude and work-ethic helped me earn respect. Forward's opportunities for women have been outstanding, and they've given me a lot of great support. I wake up happy. I go to work happy. I still pinch myself every now and then. I'll be going down the road thinking, wow, I'm still driving this thing. It's just amazing."
