Building Blocks was proud to attend The Family Cafe in Orlando today!

The Family Cafe has been empowering Floridians with disabilities and their families through Collaboration, Advocacy, Friendship, and Empowerment since 1998. We spent the day connecting with organizations, learning about valuable resources, and exploring new ways to strengthen the supports available to the individuals and families we serve.

One of the highlights of the day was running into familiar faces! We were excited to connect with Building Blocks Board Member Joshua Rosenberg and Marketing Manager Angelica of Rose Legal Group, P.A.. Strong community partnerships like these help us continue Building Hope One Block at a Time.

Thank you to the The Family Cafe for bringing together self-advocates, families, professionals, and community partners from across Florida to learn, grow, and support one another.

🎨✨ Creativity was in full swing this afternoon! ✨🎨

Our clients had an amazing time working alongside the Kiwanis Club on special art projects for our upcoming Art Auction this July! 🖌️💙 From painting and creating to sharing ideas and plenty of laughter, the room was filled with creativity, friendship, and excitement.

Each project is more than just a piece of art, it’s a reflection of our clients’ unique talents, hard work, and imagination. Watching their confidence shine as they brought their ideas to life was truly inspiring! 🌟

A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club for spending the afternoon with us and helping make these creative moments so special. We can’t wait to showcase these beautiful works of art at our July Art Auction! Stay tuned, you won’t want to miss it! 🎨🖼️💙🧡💛

Today was all about enjoying the simple things, spending time with friends, relaxing on the patio, and getting creative with some painting! 🖌️✨ There’s nothing better than a beautiful day, a little fresh air, and the chance to let your imagination shine.

From brush strokes to big smiles, our clients had a wonderful time creating, socializing, and ending the week on a colorful note. 💙🌈 We love seeing creativity bloom while making memories together!

Another great Thursday morning spent crafting with our wonderful friends from Kiwanis! 💙✨

Today, we got creative making handmade cards and mini signs, putting our imagination and artistic skills to work. 🎨✂️ From colorful designs to thoughtful messages, everyone had a great time expressing themselves while sharing laughs and making memories together.

We are so grateful for the continued friendship, support, and fun that Kiwanis brings each week. It’s always a joy to spend time creating, connecting, and building community together! 💙🧡💛

🎬🍿 Week 2 of the Epic Theatres Clermont Summer Movie Series was a splash-tastic success! 🌊⭐

Today our clients enjoyed watching The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants and had an absolute blast! 🧽💛 From laughing at SpongeBob’s adventures to sharing snacks and spending time with friends, the day was filled with smiles, excitement, and unforgettable memories. 😄🍿✨

Community outings like these give our clients the opportunity to connect with others, build friendships, and experience the joy of being part of the community. 💙 We loved seeing everyone’s excitement as they enjoyed the movie on the big screen!

✨ Twisted Tuesday is always full of fun, learning, and new experiences! Today our clients rotated through different classes including Science/Math, Art, Communication, Fitness, and Cooking. 🍊🎨🏃‍♀️🌱

Today our science class taste tested oranges 🍊 & our art class did more friendship bracelets & our fitness class worked on some motor skills, while other clients did some painting!!🧡

Every Twisted Tuesday is an opportunity to build skills, explore new interests, and have fun with friends along the way. 💙🧡💛

🔄✨ Mix-Up Monday was a success! ✨🔄

Every Monday, our clients switch things up and rotate through different classes including Math & Science 🧪, Art 🎨, Fitness 💪, Communication 🗣️, and Cooking 👩‍🍳 to learn new skills, build confidence, and explore new interests.

Today in Art Class, everyone got creative making colorful friendship bracelets! 🌈💖 It was a fun way to practice creativity, patience, and fine motor skills while creating something special to share with friends.

We love seeing our clients step outside their usual routines, try new things, and discover new talents each week! 💙🧡💛

A huge heartfelt thank you to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office 🚓💙 and EMS 🚑❤️ for including us in your backpack stuffing event 🎒✨ and for your incredible support, care, and dedication to our community. We are beyond grateful for everything you do every single day, you truly make a difference!
