Story time. What our visual murals teach.
John 8:12 Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light. This verse was the inspiration for doing Jesus in Yellow. The Red represents the blood.
1 John 1:7 states that walking in the light, as God is in the light, fosters fellowship with other believers and provides continuous cleansing from all sin through the blood of Jesus Christ

This mural was created for a children’s space within a church, designed to feel joyful, welcoming, and full of light. Using bold geometric shapes and vibrant colors inspired by modernist design and stained-glass traditions, the work reflects themes of new life, growth, and belonging.
The composition is meant to spark curiosity and imagination while offering a sense of structure and harmony. By drawing on a visual language that feels both playful and timeless, the mural invites children to experience the space as safe, uplifting, and full of possibility. The finished product. Today we put up the new graphics to complete the kids room. I uploaded lots of photos breaking down each section. Took some better photos with my Sony camera as well. There is many stories inside this mural. See how many you can find. This is my personal new favorite project of all time. Untill July. Then I get to do onenof these in Kenya Africa!!!!
