Please join us in congratulating Callan Stewart ’27, who has been named to the U-18 Junior Women’s National Team Selection Camp for . She is one of about 75 athletes nationally to make it in this age group. Congrats, Callan.

Today, our entire 10th-grade class had an “on-campus field trip,” with a special visitor, author of the Patron Saints of Nothing, Randy Ribay. As always, LA is excited to provide an opportunity to connect our community with a young adult author who uses their words to elevate thinking about identity. His book - a young adult coming-of-age novel about grief, guilt, and identity - which our Spartans read over the summer, was the inspiration for today’s work. Students explored ethical dilemmas from the book, identified their own core values and how those values influence decisions, and connected the literature to real-world challenges.

With 40+ clubs available for our Spartans to choose from, the Club Fair was most definitely a sight to behold, as our students perused the tables on the Elm Tree Lawn to sign up for those that piqued their interests.
