: Last Thursday, before Friday’s graduation, the gathered under the tent with their families, friends, and faculty for the Annual Senior Family Dinner. Afterward, everyone entered the RMPAC for Prize Night and the Senior Slideshow.

Another Reunion at Lawrence Academy has come and gone. Whether it was the receptions, the Tom Warner Walk/Run, lunch honoring John Curran and Jenn O’Connor, touring campus and the new Community Commons, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, or the dinner with old friends and new, we’re always happy to see alumni back on the Quad, together.

Over the weekend, we welcomed back all Spartan classes ending in 1 and 6 for Lawrence Academy Reunion 2026. Whether honoring a faculty member, catching up with old friends, remembering ones no longer with us, touring the Community Commons (amidst the construction), or unveiling this year’s Athletic Hall of Fame class, this was one for the ages—despite the rainy New England weather. Thanks for joining us, Spartans!

Contrary to what most would think, there’s nothing usual about a graduation ceremony for a school incorporated in 1792 and founded in 1793. In fact, despite its relatively clockwork appearance every spring, new names, new faces and new locations on campus make the annual affair unique unto itself.
