Although the Avery Point library is closed for construction this summer, you can still celebrate World Ocean Day with a broad selection of ocean-themed ebooks that are available online 24/7.

UConn Library - Avery Point is closed for construction of new Student Health and Wellness offices on the first floor. Library staff will still be working behind the scenes, and you can still reach us by voice mail at 860-405-9146. We'll be open again before the fall semester starts.

We get fun whiteboard art this time of year!

It's finally getting warmer around here. Just a reminder that we have volleyballs, chairs, kites, and other fun things to lend if you'd like to spend time outdoors.

There's so much going on in the library this week! Snacks, obviously, every afternoon this week, plus we have a shredder out for public use in case you'd like to obliterate some of your class notes. And the Oasis Room is here for study breaks, with puzzles, movies, books, and coloring.

What's an Oasis Room? A peaceful place for study breaks, featuring sights and sounds of nature (green plants and a Zen fountain), relaxing activities such as coloring and jigsaw puzzles, comfy seating and blankets, and books and movies you might remember from childhood. Open in study room 2 all day every day till finals end.

We have a lot going on this week and next to support our students! Extended hours this week, closing at 7pm Mon-Thurs and 5pm Fri, snacks every day from 2:30-3:30, and the Oasis Room on the first floor for study breaks. Smiles are available any time we're open. Finish strong!
