Our Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease events kick off tomorrow!
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes brings two iconic worlds together for the biggest Magic collaboration ever. This set features two new mechanics to explore: 'Power-up' and 'Teamwork'.
Events are scheduled as following:
Friday 06/19 @ 3:15 & 7:30
Saturday 06/20 @ 1:00 & 5:30
Sunday 06/21 @ 1:00
Monday 06/22 @ 6:15
Wednesday 06/24 @ 6:15
We'll have standard CGC Prize Support, and events will run while supplies last. No reservation or RSVP needed.

This past Saturday was our Miniature Paint Day! 🎨
Our Mini Painting Days invites painters of all kinds to connect and share tips, tricks, and knowledge. This week we had characters from DnD, Warhammer, historical gaming, and even a Gundam!
All skill levels are welcome too- this week Eric taught painter with no previous experience and they completed his first ever mini!
This event is free, and if you don’t have supplies or a mini we can provide everything you need to get started.
Stop by for a mini painting day, and meet the whole crew, including our friend Eric every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month from 11-5!

This Saturday is our next mini painting day! 🎨
Starting at 11am you can stop by to paint miniatures. Whether you are finishing a big project or brand new to the hobby, all are welcome!
Our mini painting masters will be here to help teach you how to get started or share their favorite tips and tricks to nail every detail of your mini.
Bring your kit, or borrow some of our supplies. No reservations required, and no cost!

Yesterday was the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, the biggest and most ambitious amphibious invasion in history.
To commemorate this historic day, members of our historical gaming community gathered to play the special Memoir 44 D-Day scenario!
This scenario is special for many reasons, but one of the biggest is that when set up with the full map layout, it stretches about 15 feet! While we only played half, the gaming session still took about 5 hours, and was a wonderful experience.
We’d like to thank Kent featured here for bringing the game, setting it up, teaching new players, and being such a wonderful member of our community.
Memoir 44 is still available for purchase, and the new “refreshed” version is available now. With updated content and rules, the new version comes highly recommended.
We are so grateful to be able to host events that harbor community, and celebrate such historic events. These events serve many purposes, but most importantly it gives us the opportunity to remember the valor, and sacrifice of the real people who’ve fought to give us our freedoms.

This month for Mondays with Molly, we are playing Brindlewood Bay!
Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines cozy murder mystery with cosmic horror. It's Murder, She Wrote meets HP Lovecraft!
During the Mondays with Molly sessions you can learn to play the game during a one-shot adventure - For FREE! Molly will provide all the materials you need for this one, but a set of dice and a pencil is always a handy tool to bring to these sessions.
No sign up is required and you are welcome to attend one, or both of the sessions each month!

Description:
The Twilight Wars have concluded. The Imperium has fallen. It is now a race among several factions to conquer the galaxy! Engage in combat, politics, and trade to fulfill objectives to become the dominant galactic faction!
Twilight Imperium (Fourth Edition) is a game of galactic conquest where three to six players take on the role of one of seventeen factions vying for galactic domination through military might, political maneuvering, and economic bargaining.
IMPORTANT:
This is a long and complex game. We will have a hard stop at 9:00 PM. The "Learn to Play" book & the "Rules Reference" books are available online. Reading the books is highly recommended before playing this game.

The Citadel Game Cellar is so excited to announce the beginning of our FREE Magic: The Gathering Commander League.
Why? - The Citadel MTG League aims to reward players for attending events. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who support us, and encouraging new players to join our rich community.
How? - Players who sign up for our MTG league can earn points in a variety of ways. Those points are totaled monthly, and the top 5 point earners get prizes. There is no cost to join, and we’ll do all the point tracking for you.
The point system:
2 points for attending any qualifying MTG Commander Event at the Citadel
1 point for participating in a “League Game” - those are a more challenging commander game
1 point for winning a League game
3 points for bringing a friend and getting them to sign up for the MTG League. They must play at least one commander game. That new player will also receive 3 points.
Points are totaled Monthly, and will reset at the beginning of a new month. They do not stack month to month- meaning anyone has a chance to win at any time!

Certain other tournaments may be considered for points. This is on a case by case basis, and those opportunities will be announced.

We are so excited for our game night with The Stonington Free Library at The Beer'd Brewing Co. this Thursday, May 28th!
Starting at 5:00 pm at the Velvet Mill in Stonington you can come explore our board game library. Either pick an old favorite or a member of our team can help you learn to play something new. This event is free, and no purchase is required to enjoy the games.
