Finished my Cloud Break Tee designed by the .and.pine.designs yarn is the Forbidden Lovers colorway from . Was an amazing pattern, easy to follow and I think looks fantastic. Would definitely make again!

Finished my Moonlit Jellies Cowl from was a great pattern, and I learned how to read easy brioche charts!!!

As much as I love hats, I seem to forget how quick they knit up. This is the Connecticut Pattern gem . As a life long Nutmeger, and a history lover (my bachelors is in Maritime History) this is the perfect pattern. I worked in college and have spent any a days there since with my kids. One of my favorite Mystic moments is the launching of the Charles Morgan after her repairs. I was there the day she was moved to the shipyard and was also there the day she was relaunched.

Just under two weeks and my second Winter Deco Cowl designed by with yarn from in Odessa and Shield of Sparrows. Is everything I envisioned when I purchased the yarn. I have another brioche pattern from ready to cast on but going to do a quick (hopefully) hat to celebrate my favorite part of my state. Pictures for that incoming.

For me it is not every day I find a larger pattern that I want to make multiple projects of. Not only does a pattern need to jump out, but the colors need to as well. The Winter Deco Cowl from is just that pattern. The teal and gold, which I call my Perry the Platypus Cowl is yarn from and the other is Shield of Sparrows and Odessa from . I am loving this amazing brioche cowl and the way it shows off both colors that are used.

The Whirlwind Brioche Beanie and mittens by using yarn from and as soon as these two skeins arrived I knew they would be my next brioche project. I am the unofficial brioche queen in my knitting groups as there is always at least 1 project on my needles.
