First ever comp, first for all of us. To explain we signed up in the morning then later that day Mike had busted his tie rod, Justin had to go in to town for a smaller alternator belt and Matt went with him. They got back and Mike got his car together and we literally had maybe 10 mins to get up to the grid. So we said f**k let’s try it. So we scrambled, Mike almost didn’t torque his wheels, Matt didn’t do a single lap up to that point that day, Justins tires were shot, I think Matt’s were shot, I didn’t swap to a new set… needless to say, no practice runs, not a ton of practice driving 4 deep and tires weren’t the best. All in all I think for our first try we didn’t do tooooo bad. This was first lap of two for team tandem comp at drift evo. I think we will definitely do it again and actually try to prepare next time lol.

My fav run I think of the whole trip. Only thing missing is the rest of the homies in this run. But sometimes a duo run makes for the best runs. Me chasing down Justin Yates y8s and finally kind of finding that sweet spot of close but not too close. Bash was one for the books for sure. I’ll start my YouTube video this weekend. Should be a fun one to put together. Big big thanks to Drift Evolution for putting a banger event on.
