Last night's basketball game against Oregon City Service Learning Academy was a nail biter! OCSLA won in overtime by one basket, with just seconds remaining. Shout out to our Titans for a phenomenal game and thank you to New Urban High School for hosting!

This week we have been celebrating our amazing classified staff in recognition of Classified Appreciation Week!
On Monday, Journalism created a hydration station in the staff room, complete with a menu of cool "school survival" drink recipes. On Tuesday National Honor Society baked some amazing treats. On Wednesday Leadership brought an array of bagels and spreads. Today, M.E.Ch.A. created a fruit bar. Thank you classified staff for all that you do!

We're celebrating Springwater Trail High School’s (STHS) arts and creative writing teacher Brandi Kruse👏 She was nominated for this honor by STHS English language arts and journalism teacher Crystal Weber, who shared:

“Brandi is well-known not only as a gifted artist and writer in the Portland area but also as an innovative educator. She continually seeks out unique, meaningful, and culturally enriching learning experiences for her students. By inviting local artists and writers into the classroom, she fosters creativity and then creates opportunities for her students to engage with the arts in ways they might not have otherwise experienced.”
