The Center for Advanced Learning makes it possible for bright, engaged teens to become successful professionals in today’s most innovative industries. Each student’s education is enriched by college-level coursework, hands-on learning, diverse program offerings, and internships. All students have the potential to harness their CAL education as they move from high school to professional success. At our core, we’re a network of people who are passionate about the activation of knowledge. We’re curious students, inspired teachers and staff, engaged mentors, and motivated parents. Our people are diverse in their interests; what’s common is our commitment to core values:
Challenge: The people of CAL value all types of thinkers and doers: those who can learn from each other; who enjoy working as teams; who are up to the challenge to ask hard questions. We challenge one another to explore & grow our knowledge beyond rote and compliant course work. Students come from different high schools, representing diverse neighborhoods and families, so they learn to generate unique ideas from multiple perspectives. Innovation: Creating solutions to problems requires collaboration. We work together to explore new ideas, experiment, and persevere. Relevance: Above all else, we’re dedicated to working on relevant, real-world challenges. We learn from industry professionals in our program areas, apply knowledge as interns in real jobs, and activate our professional skills relevant to today’s workplace.

We’ll also have support available for families to get connected to CAL ParentSquare and ParentVUE.

As we head into summer, please join us in wishing Donnie all the best as he begins an exciting new chapter, pursuing his career as a contractor.
For nearly a decade, Donnie has been the heart of CAL’s front office. He’s been the friendly voice on the phone, the smile that welcomed students, families, and visitors each day, and the first to step in whenever someone needed a hand.
We have been the lucky ones.
Thank you, Donnie, for everything you’ve given to our community. We know this isn’t goodbye, it’s simply see you soon. 💛🖤

Congratulations to two CAL students who have been named valedictorians for the Class of 2026!
As part of this honor, each student selected a CAL teacher as their honored educator, recognizing the impact those relationships have had on their journey. We are proud to celebrate both our students and the educators who helped support their success.
Our honored educators Zeke and Mr. McNeal will be cheering them on at Centennial’s graduation this week!
Our hearts are full. These students are prepared for whatever paths lie ahead. It's been a great two years!
