Firefighters are not a line item on a municipal spreadsheet. They are part of the insurance loss-prevention system.

When insurers refuse to reimburse communities for the cost of responding to insured events, those costs don’t disappear—they’re shifted to volunteers and taxpayers. Until the system breaks.

FireAlly exists to close that gap—lawfully, transparently, and without billing individuals.

Because when fire service fails, insurance doesn’t just get more expensive.
It becomes harder to offer at all.

Things went a little bit upside down for this driver in Spartanburg County, SC. Luckily for them State Farm was like a good neighbor, reimbursing the responding fire districts for their costs. Community taxes ensure that everyone has access to emergency services; but unless we want to pay more taxes, individual users need to reimburse the community for using community resources. We buy insurance to pay for our responsibilities during unplanned emergencies. Thanks, State Farm for supporting the Spartanburg community, and for being a socially responsible player.

When we think about gifts at Christmas time, we often think of the three wise men or Santa. Please remember to also think of all of your local firefighters who keep the gift of life alive throughout the year.
