As students head back to school, we’re celebrating the diverse career journeys of the people who now call Greer CPW home.
While many of these years were spent building their careers elsewhere, we’re proud to have them here with us now—bringing their experience, knowledge, and passion to Greer CPW.
We hope parents, teachers, and school counselors will help us continue talking about careers in the utility world. It’s a rewarding field with paths for every skill set.

August is Water Quality Month and what better way to celebrate than with Clean Water Appreciation Day at the Greer Farmers Market. We’ll be joined by our partners at Greenville Water and SJWD Water District on Sunday, August 16 from 11 am – 2 pm at Greer City Park to discuss the water treatment process and how water impacts the foods we eat every day. We may serve different customers, but water impacts us all.

Beginning August 1, 2026, Greer CPW residential and small commercial natural gas customers will notice a new, more detailed breakdown of the charges that make up your natural gas bill.
The new rate structure is revenue neutral for Greer CPW meaning the structure does not increase or decrease the total amount of money collected. We hope this provides a better understanding of the costs that make up your bill and how your usage charges are calculated.
